OVERVIEW

Metamorph is the darkwave and gothic pop project of Margot Day—vocalist, songwriter, and flutist with roots in the 1980s New York City goth/post-punk underground (frontwoman of The Plague). Metamorph carries that lineage forward into a modern electronic form: romantic, nocturnal, and cinematic—built for dark rooms and wider reach.

This is not revival or pastiche. It is continuation—classic goth sensibility refined through contemporary production and pop-forward structure, designed to connect underground culture with broader audiences.
